Goals I will pursue as County Mayor
Leadership
People respond to strong leadership. As County Mayor, I will join the efforts of the city mayors as they seek common goals on behalf of all people.
Unity
I will view the county as one single entity, and work with all cities to achieve what is best for all.
Jobs
I will work with the new industrial recruiter to seek good-paying jobs for our citizens.
Education
I feel that a course in the basics of county government is very much needed in the high-school level, and will discuss this possibility with our school officials.
Disaster Preparedness
The County Mayor should survey the level of preparedness that now exists across our county and be aware of the types of relief that our county would need in the event of a disaster. I will do that.
